Domaine Vessigaud Macon Fuisse Hauts de Fuisse is a rich Chardonnay from the rolling hills of the Maconnais. A well rounded elegant wine with great body and structure and with mineral flavours.
We think that current owner/winemaker Pierre Vessigaud tends to hide his light under a bushel (or vine) when he claims that there cannot be a great wine without outstanding terroir. While he does own some of the finest vineyard plots in Pouilly-Fuisse, there's no getting away from the fact that Pierre Vessigaud is an exceptionally talented winemaker with a string of award-winning wines to his name.
