Domaine Vincent Legou Ladoix Rouge

Domaine Vincent Legou is a small family estate based in Concoeur hamlet a few kilometres beyond Vosne-Romanée. Domaine Vincent Legou Ladoix Rouge is a powerful yet elegant red with raspberry and blueberry fruit and savoury notes. Velvety smooth with fine tannins on the long finish.

The Estate was created in 2008 by Vincent Legou, taking over the Estate from his parents. From the beginning, Vincent chose to cultivate his vines using organic farming methods. In 2014, all of the Domaine's vines were AB certified.

The vinification is also rigorous to avoid the use of too many inputs: little sulfur, indigenous yeasts, long maceration, aging in barrels between 12 and 14 months.

Today, we cultivate 11.5 hectares of vines, spread over the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, in the Burgundy, Burgundy Aligoté, Burgundy Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru, Ladoix, Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin appellations. All the wines are vinified, aged and bottled at the Domaine, in Nuits Saint-Georges.
