Domaine Jean Marechal Mercurey 1er Cru Clos Barraults comes from the Côte Chalonnaise district of Burgundy. The low yields for this Pinot Noir produce a wine deep in colour with good body and ageing potential. A wonderfully rich wine with great complexity.
This fine Domaine, based in Mercurey, has been handed down through the generations since 1570 and is renowned for making first-class AOC red Burgundy. With over four hundred years of winemaking know-how to draw from, all wines at Domaine Jean Maréchal are handmade according to traditional winemaking practice.
