District 7 Cabernet Sauvignon is made by the Scheid family from vineyards in southern Monterey. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Syrah and Merlot. A balance of power and finesse with blackberry and raspberry flavours softened by oak ageing.

Our District 7 Cabernet is a classic that hits the sweet spot where power and structure meet elegance and finesse. Aromas of ripe dark cherry, raspberry and vanilla infuse the glass. Beautifully balanced and elegant on the palate, the silky tannins complement flavors of juicy blackberries, currants, almonds and cassis.

California has 17 grape crush districts. Monterey County is District 7. Wine experts recognize our home as one of the most beautiful and diverse winegrowing regions in the world. The distinctive geography, climate and soils lead to wines that are complex, elegant and most importantly, delicious. District 7 is Monterey.

Monterey County is a good place to call home. In addition to its stunning scenery, diverse recreation and relaxed lifestyle, it offers a wide range of terroirs to grow both cold- and warm-climate grapes. Incredible properties allow us to produce a range of wines that are true to variety and site.
