Domaine Vindemio Terra Ventoux Rouge

Domaine Vindemio Terra Ventoux Rouge is a powerful yet elegant wine from the foothills of the Ventoux mountain made by the Combe family. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre with deep black fruits, a touch of liquorice and ripe, smooth tannins on the long finish.

Vindemio means 'I harvest' in Latin. Florentine and Albin Combe are the 5th generation of winemakers in the family.

All of our wines are made from blends which endow them with aromatic richness and excellent balance. The wines are thus suited to ageing in your cellar. Growing techniques are environmentally-friendly and the wines express a unique identity and reflect the work done by the winemakers, the fruit of transmission d'un savoir-faire.

Terra means "earth" in Latin. Source of life for the vine which draws its geological wealth and strength from it, the soil is the essence of a terroir. At 150m in height, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail and sheltered by Mont Ventoux, the plot of Saint-Hippolyte-le-Graveyron benefits from the rays of the sun from morning to evening. On these 4 hectares surrounded by oaks, cherry trees and cypresses, the manual harvest is done with delicacy, in the middle of blueberries and thistles.

Terra expresses itself on pretty spicy notes, aromas of red and black fruits and a nice acidity.
