Domaine du Pre Baron Touraine Gamay is a lighter red which still has plenty of bright crunchy fruit. Full of raspberry fruit with good depth and structure but lighter in alcohol for a perfect summer red.

The Gamay is hand-picked and fully carbonic-macerated. No oak, just vibrant, crunchy, classic Loire Gamay.

Jean-Luc Mardon is the 5th generation of his family to run this 45 hectare domaine in Oisly, Touraine. He has been at the helm for 20 years, and it was his father, Guy, who first started working with Boutinot back in the 1980s. He is a quiet, fastidious winemaker which shows in the quality of his wines.

Jean-Luc Mardon’s estate is certified by Terra Vitis, which is a rigorous code of conduct for sustainable winemaking covering all aspects of production from vine to bottle.
