Bouchon Pais Salvaje Red
Regular price £16.50 Save £-16.50Bouchon Pais Salvaje Red is made from wild Pais vines grown naturally in the forest and fermented with wild yeast. A fascinating harmony of wild strawberry and cherry fruits with spicy notes.
It all began in the 19th century when a young viticulturist from France named Emile Bouchon arrived in Chile. Many years later, now deeply rooted in the Maule Valley, Julio Bouchon and his children carry on the family tradition of creating distinctive, terroir-driven wines.
Four generations of the Bouchon family have been creating wines in the Maule Valley.
They produce the notorious País Salvaje (wild País) which grown in a forest and requires hand harvesting on ladders some of which are 5 metres tall.
