A Beaujolais with depth and an intensity of flavour from the ripe fruit of Morgon in the north of Beaujolais. Morgon Vieilles Vignes Domaine Laurent Gauthier has flavours of raspberry and strawberry with a lingering fruity finish.

Epicurean winemaker and all round bon vivant, Laurent Gauthier is the proud owner of a top-class family estate which was established in Morgon in 1834. Morgon is often regarded as the powerhouse of Beaujolais winemaking simply because there's so much of it compared to other regions. However, the very best Morgon is made in the Côte de Py where Gauthier has sizeable vineyards which boast immaculately kept old Gamay vines. Gauthier's viticulture is deeply rooted in tradition and he is staunch advocate of natural methods of winemaking such as fining with egg whites and using little to no filtration. His wines would grace any table or occasion.
