Cotes du Rhone Villages Domaine des Pasquiers Sablet is made from a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah on the right bank of the Rhône. Spicy, black pepper and blackcurrant flavours with liquorice on the finish. A big wine with good structure and smooth integrated tannins.
Founded in 1935 this estate, situated in Vaucluse in the village of Sablet, is expertly run by brothers Jean Claude and Philippe Lambert. With over 90 hectares of prime vineyards at their disposal (in areas such as Gigondas, Côtes du Rhône, and Vin de Pays) they receive some of the region’s best fruit. Brothers Lambert currently make some of the finest wines in the area and are currently moving towards full organic certification.
