Teeling Irish Whiskey
Teeling Irish Whiskey is a small batch blend of Malt and Grain whiskey with a higher than normal composition of first fill bourbon barrels and higher than usual ratio of malt to grain. The blend is then given further maturation in ex-Rum barrels to impart an extra sweet and smooth flavour while keeping the unique taste of Irish Whiskey.

TASTING NOTES
Nose An inviting nose where vanilla and spice dances with bright sweet notes of Rum.
Taste While being very approachable the influence of the rum cask and higher percentage alcohol creates a unique smooth, sweet, slightly woody marriage that sparkles on the tongue.
Finish Slightly moorish, sweet spice finish complimented by woody undertones.

Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Co., comes from a family long associated with Irish whiskey. From Walter Teeling in 1782 who started a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin to John Teeling who founded Cooley Distillery in 1987, the first new Irish whiskey distillery to be established in Ireland in over 100 years. Teeling’s entrepreneurial spirit has been maintained by Jack who is reviving the Independent Spirit of Ireland though the Teeling Whiskey Co. The Teeling Whiskey Company was established on some core values that are distinctively Irish and the essence
of what they want in every bottle:

Authenticity Being genuine and true to the generations of Irish whiskey craftsmen that went before.
Quality Each bottling is the best it can possibly be while striving to do things “better”.
Independence Being family and employee owned provides Teeling with the freedom to control their own destiny.
Innovation While being respectful to the past it is important to be at the forefront of Irish whiskey.
